Caramel Nut Cluster


Players Extreme suggests this one for chocolate lovers.


1 oz. Players Extreme Caramel Infused Vodka
1/2 oz. chocolate liqueur
1/2 oz. Frangelico

Mix all, strain into a Martini glass. Drizzle with chocolate sauce.



Wenceslas Sapphire


Jamie Walker, mixologist for Bombay Sapphire, created this one.


1 pitted date
1 fig
1 1/2 oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin
1/2 oz. fresh apple juice
1/4 oz. light cream

Muddle date and fig with Bombay Sapphire in the bottom of shaker. Add apple juice and light cream. Shake vigorously with ice, strain into a chilled Martini glass.



Winter Toffee Cocoa


Monin’s latest features their new flavor, Toffee Nut.


8 oz. hot cocoa
1/2 oz. Monin Toffee Nut
1/2 oz. Monin Caramel

Stir syrups into hot cocoa. Top with whipped cream, garnish with chopped nuts.



Pumpkin (Frozen) Martini


Ristorante Mamma Gina, Newport Beach, CA, blends this creamy drink.


1 scoop pumpkin ice cream
1 oz. Three Olives Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. half & half
1 scoop ice

Blend all, serve in frosted Martini glass generously rimmed with cinnamon and sugar. Top with dollop of whipped cream.



Oh My Darling Clementine!


Here’s the latest from Bill Davis, Molly’s Pub ­ Act II, Lancaster, PA.


1 oz. Svedka Clementine Vodka
1/2 oz. Finlandia Mango Vodka
1/2 oz. Midori
1/2 oz. pineapple juice

Chill all, strain and serve up in a Martini glass. Garnish with clementines splashed with Cognac.



After Dinner Mint


The Patron Spirits Company shares this coffee drink.


1 1/2 oz. Patron XO Café (tequila coffee liqueur)
1/2 oz. peppermint schnapps
hot coffee

Combine the liquors in a cup of hot coffee. Top with whipped cream.

Key Lime-Tini


Rain Vodka sends us this creative concoction.


1 oz. Rain Vodka
1 oz. French Kiss Vanilla Liqueur
juice from half a lime
splash of cream

Combine all, strain into a graham cracker crumb-rimmed Martini glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.



The Wireless Cocktail


Barkeep Keith Durnin and Ian Bentley, lobby lounge manager, created this for their “high-techies” at the Fairmont San Jose, CA.


1 1/2 oz. Ciroc Vodka
1 oz. Midori
2 oz. fresh orange juice
Splash grenadine

Combine all, pour into a Martini glass. Garnish with fresh melon balls.



Gingerbread Martini


This one from Boru Vodka combines orange and gingerbread flavors.


2 1/2 oz. Boru Orange Vodka
1 oz. Monin Gingerbread

In mixing glass, add and shake vigorously the vodka and syrup. Rim Martini glass with some warmed syrup, then dip in sugar-in-the-raw/graham cracker crumb mixture. Strain drink into glass.


Berry Sexy


A Valentine’s Day suggestion from the folks at Jose Cuervo.


1 1/4 parts Jose Cuervo Tradicional Tequila
1/2 part triple sec
1/4 part raspberry liqueur
2 1/2 parts sweet and sour
2 parts cranberry juice

Pour all ingredients into a shaker cup filled with ice. Shake, strain and serve in a Martini glass rimmed with red salt.
